Holy greetings to you in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I would like to say hello and let you know about our ministry. I and my wife (Pastor John and Chinni), have been working for over 16 years joyfully by dedicating our lives for Christ’s work. Along with 15 co-workers, we are doing the work of God together. We work in a rural area among the poor, non-Christians, and Hindus. We organize Sunday schools for children, youth Gospel camps, youth meetings, Bible study classes, Gospel preaching camps, Bible classes for women, open-air gospel night meetings, and worship.
Conditions in our country is very bad because the people suffer from many kinds of sickness like Malaria, Typhoid, Cancer, T.B., Hypertension, Diabetes, HIV, etc. especially in rural areas where the medical help is scarcity. In cities, there are multi specialty hospitals and mostly people who are rich will get the medical benefit. No way for the common poor man to get treatment in city hospitals. Even in government hospitals patients are expected to pay some money. This makes the poor people to remain at home and suffer to die. In rural hospitals, there are no specialists. So pity is that most of the people depend on private doctors who are quacks. It is under such circumstances we visit the hospitals and locate poor patients and try to help them, buying blood, medicines like tonic and tablets and some times if they are inpatients like maternity we do help them, not only in the ordinary conditions, but even in emergency situation our organization comes into action to help the situation as far as possible. Please pray for our efforts. Our main objective is to give the poor and needy patients, the least minimum medical aid and save the life and pray for them for gaining health.
If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit? James 2:15-16.
I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink. —Matthew 25:35
In India, contaminated drinking water, polluted river water and unsafe well water remain a major cause of morbidity and mortality in rural areas with 1.8 million deaths per year being attributed to water-borne diseases. The victims are rural women and children living in villages and hamlets due to seasonal diseases caused by contaminated drinking water.
Be it day or night, All our villagers by walk We used to have to fetch water from the well 4km away from our Village, after drinking water from well, Many diseases are spread through contaminated drinking water villagers fell sick. Children’s under age 5 die every day from diarrhea caused by contaminated water, poor sanitation, and unsafe hygiene.
It has been continuing for so many years. Neither the government nor anybody else is doing anything. There is only one well in the village. Some people sleep there to fetch drinking water.
